  • For Historical and Sightseeing;  Our must do`s.   World Heritage site The Giants Causeway (enjoy it), The worlds oldest whiskey Distillery at Bushmills (take the tour), Dunluce Castle (walk through it),  Carrick-a-Rede  Ropebridge (cross it) ,  Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne (relax), The Giants Causeway to Bushmills Steam Train (ride in it).  Derrys Walls (walk on it)   Rathlin Island  (take the boat)

  • For Beaches: We are very proud to have the best Beaches in Ireland on our doorstep:  Runkerry Strand and Portballintrae Beach 500 yds,  Whitepark Bay (3mls)  ,  Whiterocks (Blue Flag) (1 ½ mls)  Portrush East Strand (Blue Flag) (2mls)  , Portrush West Strand (Blue Flag) (3 mls) , Portstewart Strand (Blue Flag) (7 mls)  Benone Strand  (Blue Flag) (10 Mls)

  • For Foodies; Were do we start? Portballintrae, Bushmills , Portrush, and Portstewart  has numerous bistros and restaurants together with cafes and wine bars, and local pubs which  cater for every taste, from a traditional Irish meal to fine dining and vegetarian alternatives.  Local Busmills has 3 fantastic Fish & chip and Chinese carryouts.

  • For Cooks;  Bushmills  (3 mins) has a selection of small independent shops supplying fresh produce and quality meats and fish and a very good Off Licence with a good selection of beers and wine. There are a number of small modern supermarkets here too.  Stop and have a chat, everyone in Bushmills has time to have a yarn with you.

  • For Shoppers; Retail therapy is guaranteed in Coleraine (15mins) with High Street brand names, numerous quality local boutiques and other specialist shops. Antrim (45 mins) has the excellent  Junction One Outlet Centre.

  • For Children; There are lots of things to do for the kids .Many of the local towns have programmes which run throughout the summer.  Wet suits and body boards can be hired in Portrush.    We have supplied lots of board games in the house for their amusement, just in case in rains. Also Barrys amusements is near by.

  • For Explorers; The costal walks along the North Coast have  some of the best views in Ireland. Much of the coast is owned by The National Trust and is open to the public The GOLFVIEW is ideally situated for day trips to many of the coastal towns and the historical City of Derry/ Londonderry is only an hour away.  Spend a day on beautiful Rathlin Island , just a short boat journey from Ballycastle

  • For Golfers:  Spoilt for choice.  GOLFVIEW overlooks the lovely Bushfoot Golf Course with the River Bush running through it.   Royal Portrush - Rated in worlds top 12 (3mls) , Royal Portstewart  (7 mls) , Castlerock GC, Ballycastle GC

  • For Bikers:  North West 200 Is the biggest road race in Ireland and one of the fastest in the world. Using the roads between the triangle of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine the record is currently 201.1mph.  A one week long Biking Spectacular .Book Early.
